O Festival Nacional da Canção, um dos eventos mais aguardados e prestigiados do cenário musical brasileiro, está com inscrições abertas para a 55ª edição. Este ano, o festival pretende superar o número das inscrições efetuadas ano passado (1.000 músicas) e, também, na qualidade. Compositores do Brasil e do exterior já podem se inscrever por meio do site www.festivalnacionaldacancao.com.br . Além da premiação de R$250 mil eles concorrerão ao cobiçado troféu Lamartine Babo que será entregue ao primeiro colocado.
Os compositores podem inscrever quantas músicas desejarem, de qualquer gênero musical, pagando uma taxa de R$20,00 por música. As apresentações serão presenciais e on-line, com premiação diferenciada para cada categoria. Obrigatoriamente os intérpretes do Brasil e do exterior devem cantar a sua música em português. “Este é um festival sem fronteiras”, lembra Gleizer Naves, idealizador do Festival, “o importante é incentivar talentos de qualquer parte do mundo”, completa
Das músicas inscritas 120 serão selecionadas para as etapas classificatórias. A abertura acontecerá em Tiradentes, Minas Gerais, dias 25 e 26 de julho. Em seguida ele será realizado dias 1 e 2 de agosto, em São Thomé das Letras; 8 e 9 agosto, em Perdões; 15 e 16 de agosto, em Três Pontas; 22 e 23 de agosto, em Coqueiral; 29 e 30 de agosto, em Nepomuceno. As semifinais e final acontecerão em Boa Esperança, dias 4, 5 e 6 de setembro

Desde sua criação, o Festival Nacional da Canção tem sido uma vitrine para os talentos musicais do Brasil, contribuindo significativamente para a riquíssima diversidade cultural do país. O Festival nasceu em 1971, no auge dos grandes festivais da televisão brasileira e, desde então, acontece ininterruptamente, levando boa música, além de muita diversão para cidades mineiras. E, neste ano, não será diferente, muita música de qualidade e grandes talentos estão sendo esperados no festival. A grande festa da música popular brasileira.
